Refunds and Exchanges

Free ticket exchanges are offered to those unable to attend their scheduled event. Requests for ticket exchanges must be made at least 48 hours prior to the event’s scheduled start time. We do not offer refunds.

To initiate an exchange, send the details of your exchange request to tickets@dcsymphony.org, or call our box office at (214) 449-1294.

You may also donate tickets you do not intend to use back to the Dallas Chamber Symphony, for which we will provide you a receipt for an income tax deduction. Please make your donation at least 48 hours prior to your event’s start time. We sincerely appreciate your doing this, as it helps us avoid empty seats while accommodating those on our waitlist.

All purchases are subject to our privacy policy and terms of sale.

Late Arrivals

We recommend arriving early to concerts. Please allow approximately 30 minutes to park, pick up your tickets, and if you wish, purchase drinks in the lobby before your event. The theater doors will close at the concert start time. If you arrive late, you will be asked to wait in the lobby until there is a pause in the program during which you may enter quietly, such as in between pieces or movements. Late seating may not be available during programs without an intermission or other appropriate pause. Accommodations for latecomers are made at the discretion of venue staff.

Attire

We want our patrons to be comfortable, so we encourage you to dress in a way that best allows you and those around you to enjoy the concert experience. Business casual attire is recommended.

Concert Courtesy

We believe that great music is best enjoyed live and with others.  Please be a conscientious guest and make an effort to allow others to get the most out of the concert experience. This includes turning off your cell phone and other electronic devices prior to the concert, and avoiding coughing, talking, moving about the theater, or handling objects which you may drop while the orchestra is performing.

Children's Attendance Policy

Introducing young children to classical music is important to the DCS. Children age seven and older are welcome to attend our regular performances with a purchased ticket. We ask that guests be able to sit quietly in their own seat for a period of at least 45 minutes without moving around or sitting on a caretaker’s lap.

Children under seven are welcome at family-oriented concerts, community outreach and youth education events. Please check our event detail pages to determine whether a given event is appropriate for your party.

On occasion, the Dallas Chamber Symphony screens films in concert as part of our UnSilent Film Series. Whenever a film program will include mature content, a parental advisory will be posted prominently on the event’s detail page.

Lost & Found

Moody Performance Hall maintains a lost and found which is managed by venue staff. You may call them at (214) 671-1450 to ask if items you left behind have been found.
