Experience the virtuosic performances of the three finalists of the Dallas International Violin Competition as they vie for the event’s top prize. All three will perform a solo concerto with orchestra, and a renowned jury will select and announce the winner. Attendees will have their say as well and can cast their vote for the audience choice award!
Anton Nel performs Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 19 and Poulenc’s Piano Concerto (1949). After intermission, experience Beethoven’s triumphant Symphony No. 7 in A Major; Richard McKay conducts.

Dvořák’s Czech Suite opens this program, followed by award-winning cellist, Alexander Hersh, performing Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations. After intermission, the orchestra performs Mozart’s Symphony No. 38, the “Prague”; Richard McKay conducts.
